On the third day of our Japan tour, we boarded the Kintetsu train at Takanohara Station for a short journey to Nara, the capital city of Nara Prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan. Nara has eight temples, shrines and ruins which form the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara". We travelled from one attraction to another on foot as majority of the tourist destinations are located within the vicinity of Nara Park. Below are the two 'ji' (temple) which we visited in Nara.
Tame deer are found roaming through the park.
