My philosophy to cafe food has always been about ordering the signature dish which is widely accepted as having a sense of uniqueness, be it the taste or the presentation. Owing to all the disappointment experienced in the food served in some kopitiam with a string of outlets, I have been extra careful in placing an order. So when I talk about eating at cafes, only food that has been proven to be nice will be taken into consideration.
