Mother's Day Dinner @ Kok Thai Restaurant

Mother's day is not merely an annual celebration to honour our mother, but also a family reunion which we are always looking forward to. Born and bred in a typical Chinese family, our only means of reuniting with one another and fostering a loving sibling relationship are through our stomach. In other words, we eat whenever we gather! Haha! Of course, there is always a theme behind the scenes, that is to honour our mother on this special occasion - Mother's Day!

  3. But the quality of the food dropped the last time we went. It was during a Reunion dinner I think. But the busloads of tourists kinda off-set the impact huh?

I agree... particularly when the restaurant is overcrowded, the quality of the food tends to drop significantly. Better go on weekdays, at least the chef can take his leisure time to give his best to the diners.
