The recent school holiday was unusually boring and disappointing. There ain't any overseas trip, exciting discovery of good eating place, in spite of my short trip with the Prefectorial Board to Penang, another well-known place for some good local fare. Under the constraint of limited budget, we were arranged to stay at the Grand Continental Hotel in the downtown of Penang. There is nothing worth mentioning except their breakfast buffet which is so far the lousiest I'd had.
Cornflakes, Rice Krispies and Koko Krunch
Teochew porridge
Fried kuey teow
Sausages and omelette
Toast, hard boiled eggs, chicken curry, samosa and omelette.
Butter cake and chocolate cake
Fruits
Last but not least... coffee!!!
