Bangkok 2012: Chao Phraya Cruise Dinner

The two-hour journey on the extravagant double-decked Chao Phraya Princess Cruise let us experience a sensation of luxury and romance throughout our dinner night. While we were on board, we were served a wide selection of dishes ranging from Thai-styled to international foods, appetizers to main dishes to deserts served in a buffet fashion. While enjoying our dinner, the band of musicians entertained us with soft Pop and Jazz songs in the first hour of our journey. We had the chance to take snapshots of the scenery, famous historical structures and religious monasteries along both sides of the river bank. After dinner, the talented musicians kept us entertained with an entire hour of upbeat groovy songs and we were invited to dance along with the music.

    Wow..so many choices Pam! Which one to taste first? I go for desserts normally.. :)

      Most of my colleagues did the same because there were many ang moh on board. They all knew that the ang moh normally adhere to their eating practice - i.e. always start with appetiser (e.g. salad) first. Surely no one would make a beeline to the dessert corner in their first round. Pretty smart huh?
