Catch the peppery love before it's too late

I have always wanted to try the Big M's prosperity burger which is available only during the Chinese New Year season. Not knowing when the promotion is going to end but I have been missing the boat for the past few years. I have to admit that I am a slow and sloppy person. Every time when I have made up my mind to try out something new, it always turns up to be disappointment.
"Sorry, the promotion is over."
"Sorry, it's no longer available."
"No more stock."
etc.
I can't find words to describe how disappointing it is to be missing something I have been longing for. It's time to compensate myself so I am now swearing to myself that I will never let myself down again when it comes to the food which I like. Better eat than sorry.

Chicken Prosperity Burger @ RM8.88 (ala carte)

Savour the favourite taste of tender juicy chicken patty dipped in aromatic black pepper sauce, smothered with fresh slivered onions and sandwiched in a soft sesame seed bun.

Hatyai 2011: McDonald's BBQ Pork Rib Burger and Samurai Pork Burger

McCafe @ Lee Gardens Plaza

Ronald Mcdonald wishing you Sawadika!

Coffee is never served in paper cups in McCafe ...

... unless you order a take away.

The 'porkiest' burgers of McDonald's

Barbecued Pork Rib Burger @ 59 baht

The Thai are more generous, in the sense of the slice of perfectly-grilled meat which is comparatively larger than the bun.

From the translucent-looking bun, you can tell how fluffy it is.

Pork Samurai Burger @ 69 baht

Wrapping the burger in plastic sheet is another skill which our local McDonald's need to acquire. After all, nobody likes to eat a burger that is so tightly wrapped till the sauce and lettuce ooze out from everywhere resulting in an unappealing sight. Visually, that kills my appetite.

This is what I am always hoping to see - a burger looking clean and neat when it is unwrapped.

Crispy Tuna Pie @ 29baht

Plump and crispy with very little grease sticking to the surface of the pastry.

Laden with chunks of tuna and sweet corn kennel

Cappuccino @ 60 baht

Latte @ 60 baht

Espresso @ 55 baht

McDonald's Grilled Chicken Burger

Grilled Chicken Burger is a leaner, healthier burger seasoned with herbs and spices to make it more interesting and different. It is low calories, low fat and high in protein. If you do not want to load yourself up on fat that comes in deep-fried patties, opt for the healthier grilled chicken burgers.

Grilled Chicken Burger

Whole piece of chicken thigh meat, delicately seasoned in a home-style marinade and served on a sesame bun. Burger has never been so flavourful because you deserve nothing less.

More Food Live Telecast!

The joy of publishing the food before finishing it is so overwhelming so I'm doing it again! I arrived at One Utama early in the morning and now I'm at Carl's Jr., pigging out the enormous burgers, one bite after another, by all means! Haha!!! Calories??? What is that? Must be an alien word in my vocabulary. My brain says: 'Show me your nature of gluttony for you have a voracious appetite. Show me...'
