Set Lunch @ Citrus Wine and Dine

Ever since the establishment of a few Euro Deli restaurants in Ipoh (Macoy, The Limestone, Berline Bier etc.), the local seems to have forgotten about Citrus Wine and Dine, the pioneer restaurant serving European fine dining cuisine in Ipoh. Still standing proud as one, Citrus never gives in to the fast food culture in spite of the strong competition around. What you get is quality food which is prepared with passion and patience, while upholding to its principle of serving only the best to the diners.

Citrus Wine and Dine - said to be the first fine dining concept restaurant in Ipoh.

Fish and Co. @ One Utama

My filial duty as a daughter is to ensure the two old folks eat healthily and at the same time, enjoy the food without getting bored over the similar type of food. Dad started to complain about the meals being too meaty so we switched from meat to more nutritious seafood - Fish.

Sweet Sweet Tong Sui @ Sweet Bean SS2

We settled for lunch at Sweet Bean (糖黐豆), a newly opened (April 2011) dessert shop at SS2. Originated from Hong Kong, the imported concept of eating tong sui has driven us crazy over the delectable desserts which are both nourishing and enjoyable. This dessert shop offers diners with a wide array of tong sui which are not overly sweet. So, health-concious diners can feel free to enjoy the whole bowl of tong sui all by themselves. I am one of them, of course...

Chili's @ Mid Valley

We continued with our food exploration at Mid Valley Megamall. Mushroomed with hundreds of eateries, we were clueless on what to eat. Split between local and western food, the choice was Daddy's. Knowing that he does not have a palate for Western food, Mummy opted for the former. Dad, however, was loving enough to ushered us to Chili's, a restaurant which Mummy had been eyeing on since our arrival at the mall.
Since when he became so romantic???
