New York New York Deli @ One Utama

When I think of food in the United States, I can't name really name them. What do the Yankees eat? What is their daily staple? What are the food in the states that symbolise the whole nation of the Americans? I wonder. The first time I patronised New York New York Deli was due to curiosity yet was unable to recall the taste of food I had savoured. Hence, I made my way to New York New York again to try out more food, trying to figure out the difference between British food and the state's.

Chicken Supreme Personal Cheesy Lava Stuffed Crust Pizza

Don't ask for more when you are paying less than RM7.00 for a huge (to me, that's huge) pizza loaded with everything (capsicum, onions, chicken, lots and lots of cheese) you need in a pizza. It's Tuesday, a day when you can enjoy 50 % discount for a Chicken Supreme Personal Cheesy Lava Stuffed Crust Pizza. Don't be misled by the term personal cause that's more than enough to last you for hours. Trust me. This pizza is uncriticizable. It's delicious and worth every single cent!

Our first anniversary...

I fall in love with Italy again

2011 is an anniversary year. Last year in June, I boarded the Boeing 747 to a trip in Italy, where I discovered and fell in love with the Roman land. My mum, my best travel companion, recalls every fond memories of us, when we were strolling in a foreign land. In the following ten days, we travelled to different tourist attractions. We visited 7 cities, travelling 750 miles from north to south, seeing most of the places which made others, along with you, envious of me... Please allow me to celebrate my first anniversary with Italy by indulging in all the Italian fare, and leaving you to visualise my most contented and relaxed self in an imaginary land...

Can you feel the love tonight?

Dinner at Italiannies

I hope you are not bored with the type of food I eat. If you know Ming Na well, you should have noticed the frequent posting of Italian food. My Italy trip was an influential one which left me with the strong desire for savouring all range of Italian food. So if you are not a fan of Italian cuisine, you may find this post a little too dull as it is just another pasta and pizza game.

The menu
Balsamic Sauce and Vinegar
Complimentary Bread
Grape Shake
Margherita Pizza
Tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese
Clams Fra Diavolo
Sauteed in a spicy tomato broth
Shrimp Linguine
Sauteed shrimp served with marinara sauce

Chicken Risotto

Tiramisu

Lasy finger cookies dipped in liqueur & espresso coffee with layers of creamy mascarpone icing and topped with dark chocolate powder
Being an established Italian restaurant in Malaysia, consistency is their key to success. So far, none of their food has ever disappointed me in my past visits. I am still very keen on going to Italiannies over and over again.

SOULed OUT, Sri Hartamas

After my dim sum treat at A Little Dim Sum Place, I proceeded to Taylor's College at Sri Hartamas to attend an oral defense session as a guest panel. The morning session lasted for 3 hours. I was tormented by the researchers who had probably not learned any paraphrasing technique thus I was forced to listen to the same content over and over...

When the oral defense session was finally over, I called up Natalie (my former comrade in the uni) who is working around the vicinity to join me for lunch. She suggested SOULed OUT at Desa Sri Hartamas.

Barbecued Chicken Pizza

Grilled Salmon

The pizza was fine except for the crust which was a little too thick. As for the salmon, I guess I needn't say much about it as the picture has painted thousands of good remarks on it.
