Bangkok 2012: Chatuchak Weekend Market

Chatuchak, a huge, outdoor, weekend market is the largest market of this type in Thailand, covering approximately 1.2 square kilometres. This trading place has everything you can think of. Souvernirs, clothes, food, handicraft etc. The whole area comprises about 9000 stalls so it is unlikely you could finish your market tour in a day. Hence, I suggest that you begin your tour on a Saturday morning and make a revisit to the Chatuchak market again on Sunday.

    1. 1988? That was 24 years ago. Well, seriously, you really need to go to Bangkok again cause everything has changed. One of the colleagues who travelled with me actually said that she could no longer see the old Bangkok which she visited 10 years ago.

Hi. Thx for dropping in. I love the ang koo too, the skin is very crunchy and goes so well with the mung bean filling.
