Of so many dim sum restaurants in Petaling Jaya, Jaya Palace is one of those places which offer both classy dining ambiance and quality food. Whenever I go to Petaling Jaya, I will never miss the chance of patronising this restaurant. This time, I was given the honour to escort Uncle Ron and Aunty Lai to the KLIA. We left Ipoh after having a light breakfast and spent about 2 hours travelling on the south-bound highway before arriving at Kenny's place. Both the couple hopped on and we proceeded to Jaya Palace which is merely 20 minutes drive from Kelana Jaya.
The setting of the table
Appetiser 1: Pickled Vegetables (FOC)
Appetiser 2: Braised Peanuts (FOC)
Char Siew Bun @ RN6.50
Porridge with Sliced Pork & Century Egg @ RM8.30
Deep Fried Prawn Salad Dumplings @ RM6.80
Steamed Siew Mai @ RM7.30
Steamed Rice Roll with Barbecued Pork @ RM8.50
Fried Carrot Cake @ RM8.80
Homemade Custard Buns @ RM5.80
Egg Tarts @ RM5,80
This restaurant has a limited choice of dim sum but all the morsels are prepared / cooked upon order so rest assured that everything comes piping hot and fresh including egg tarts which are also baked upon order. Although one will always be eating the same type of dim sum, it is the consistency of the food that actually counts. And that is also the main factor that keeps me coming back to Jaya Palace.

ReplyDeleteClaire:
ReplyDeleteThey may be expensive but worth giving a try because all of them taste delicious. Egg Tarts not really mini but a bit smaller compared to the standard type.
