Taiping Nyonya Kuih

Situated about 65km from Ipoh, the foodie heaven, Taiping is also a popular eating place among gluttons from other parts of the country. Though not all types of food are nice, Taiping Nyonya kuih is perhaps the best compared to the more famous states where Nyonya kuih originated from, such as Penang and Malacca.

  1. I think I havent tried the chai kuih before.. yam bean filled dumpling.. yes, Taiping is almost similiar to Pusing in a way.. both are famous for their kueh-s!

    Pusing's kuih has a strong touch of Hakka while Taiping's is typically Nyonya. I like both but I am more used to the Taiping type. I grew up with that mah...
