Three simple reasons to consider a revisit

This is not a repeating post but a revisit to the same restaurant, ordering the same package and dining with the same family members. My previous visit to Ipoh Hometown Restaurant in November 2011 was very remarkable and since then, everyone kept urging Kelvin (big brother) to take us there again. There are 3 simple reasons we wanted to go to the same place for the same food again. The price (unbelievably low at RM138 per set), the taste (very decent Chinese cuisine) and the location (parking lot available in abundance).

Stir-fried lala clams

Fish in fermented soy bean sauce

Braised spare ribs in sweet plum sauce

Stir-fried paku in belacan

Prawns sauteed in light soy sauce

Steamed chicken with ginger

Braised beancurd with mixed vegetables

Herbal chicken

Sweet potato soup

Exactly. Just drive all the way till the last row of shophouses, which are mostly unoccupied, and you will see Hometown Restaurant.
