Rich, rich, rich afternoon tea...

When I am feeling blue, I close my eyes and I think of Smurf (bullshitting again!). I have been suppressing myself for too long and I seriously think that I deserve a luxurious treat. Walking past a bakery, I heard a voice from a creamy shadow that was beckoning me.

Hey... look at me, you are looking for me, aren't you?

A chocolate Danish was giving out an indistinct and low utterance. Then another voice came.

Don't listen to it, I am the one whom you are eyeing on...

This time, I saw a cup of tiramisu waving frantically from far.

I am not insane, okay... but I am down and out. Some little things just know how to cheer me up and save my day. I am not going to choose between them, instead both will follow me home... Haha. (I am out of my mind again...)

Pam's homemade tiramisu

Once a baker, always a baker! Once again, Pam the baker is trying to melt your heart with one of her most impressive creations of the rabbit year - The tiramisu!

Working at the summer lightning speed, she dipped the sponge fingers into the coffee liquer and lifted them just in time before they turned soggy. With the correct amount of coffee sipping into the sponge, her magic hands made them just moist enough to hold the mascarpone cheese which was also whipped to perfection. The same steps were then repeated once to give a nice duo layer of cheese alternating with the sponge fingers before the final dusting work came in, in which only the finest cocoa powder was used to coat the top of the tiramisu.

A feast fit for the kings and queens.

Pam's sinful indulgence delight ...

You just call out my name, and I will be yours!

November Afternoon Tea 2: Bread & Tiramisu @ Italiannies

When I was about to leave 1-Utama, the downpour came. Finding it rather annoying because I parked my car in the open area, thus making it impossible for me to get on the car without getting myself and the shopping stuff wet. I had no choice but to keep walking without knowing where I was heading to. I chanced along Italiannies and was caught by the banner in front of the shop. Caffe Vergnano 1882 is available at Italiannies! It's coffee, coffee time again!

This picture reminds me of Italy again.

I had always wanted to get my dining table a nice piece of red or blue checked tablecloth.

Caffe Mocha @ RM6.90

Complimentary Bread, eaten with olive oil and balsamic sauce.

Tiramisu @ RM16.90

The tiramisu is certainly not the best in my list. I have of course had something that tasted much more better than the above. However, by looking at the price and its serving size (unbelievably huge that it can easily feed three), I must say that this is one of the most worth eating tiramisus.
