T for Two...

Eating waffles involves many ideas to please the varied taste of individuals. By adding a modern twist to the classic waffle, many recipes can be adjusted to make enjoying waffle an amazing experience to everyone. Recently, I have been on the lookout for a new waffle recipe. Surprise! A unintentional pairing of food provided it. When Joel was nibbling some crunchy pork floss and Marie biscuit at the same time, the taste tantalized him. The odd combination hooked him! From that point to this it's been a successful discovery and so the following recipes have been produced.

Gardenia Waffle: I finally found all the flavours!

Mum yelled at the top of her voice while holding a packet of Gardenia waffle in her hand.

"Not again!!! You have been eating waffle daily for more than a week!"

As she was slowly unloading goods one after another from the heavily stuffed shopping bag, she did not realise that she was going to discover the most horrifying scene. One, two, three, four and FIVE!

"Lei saw jor ah?" (in Cantonese)
[Translation: Are you crazy?]

"You bought five packets of waffle?"

"Yes, mum! At last, I managed to find all the five flavours, doesn't it sound exciting to you?"

"I rest my case...".  =.= (mum was speechless)

You're all mine! *wink

Gardenia Waffle: Banana and Egg Vanilla

Got really crazy about waffle since Gardenia released its latest product. This product comes with a variety of flavours. To date, I am not sure of the total number of flavours available. I have tasted the Classic Cinnamon, Maple Wholemeal and now, Banana Waffle and Fresh Egg Vanilla Waffle. Paying RM1.40 for 2 slices of waffle is so affordable when you compared the price to some frozen products in Jaya Jusco. Looking forward to more flavours.  ≧^◡^≦

Breakfast, served Pam's style.

The lighter coloured waffle has a strong eggy taste. <(^,^)>

But the banana waffle has an overpowering presence of artificial essence. (~_^)

Gardenia's Most Brilliant Invention!

(Drum rolling) After a long wait, Gardenia finally throws a surprise for all bread lovers. Their latest product in Malaysia is WAFFLE!!! Yeah yeah yeah... I can now eat waffle after waffle after waffle...  I can flavour them any way I like, feeling guilt-free at the same time because this new product has a relatively low calorie count as compared to other waffle made in snack booths... So, what are you waiting for? Go grab one before they are snapped by the others... Good luck, baby!

New Product from Gardenia!
WAFFLE!!!

Two oven fresh cinnamon waffle costs merely RM1.40! It's dirt cheap, isn't it?

I got even excited when I read the nutritional label. Each waffle contains only 87kcal! Yippee!!!

You can eat it plain without jam or butter as the waffle is flavoured with cinnamon powder.

With just one bite, you will fall in love with this remarkable waffle.
Gardenia waffle is going to stay permanently in my food list from now on... lol

Another perfect breakfast ensemble... :)

Kindly top my waffle with a scoop of ice-cream...

Not a fast-food lover. I call them "The Rubbish Food". Not a fan of Kook Fa Cha and Mud Dou Tuck though they remain as the most-patronised fast-food restaurants. What about Kani Raja and Piggy Hug? Hmm... far too greasy and cheesy... Try these food at an authentic Italian restaurant and you will be able to tell the difference. Being the latest addition to Taiping Sentral, A&W has become a new member of my rubbish food list. I thought I would never go into this fast-food outlet for the rest of my life until somebody told me about their hot-selling WAFFLE. Is waffle a kind of fast-food? No... it is categorised as PASTRY.

The food is captured from various angles of view... Does it look like rubbish food
I can only tell you that ....I enjoy eating it (it's love at first sight).

My Chocolatey Road to BRUSSELS

Brussels is a city of fine food, café culture, Art Nouveau architecture and the surreal. Pull up a chair and join laissez-faire locals who value the city’s casual atmosphere. Watch money go down on swish Ave Louise or buy dried caterpillars just blocks away in Matonge, the capital’s African quarter. Some of the world’s most enduring images of surrealist art were created in the nondescript northern suburb of Jette. And the architecture ranges from monumental edifices such as the Grand Place to organic Art Nouveau façades and the EU’s real-life Gotham City.

Constant among all this is the quality of everyday life – the shopping’s great, the restaurants fab, the chocolate shops sublime and the pub scene extraordinary. For a long time Brussels didn’t go out of its way to impress, but its stint as Cultural Capital of Europe in 2000 saw the city dusted and polished in a flurry that brought renewed life to historic buildings and decaying streets. A new spirit, just short of cockiness, emerged, flaming outside interest and inner-city regeneration. Nearly a decade on, Brussels is looking better than ever.

The Atomie Structure in Brussels welcomes you the moment you enter the country.
