Destiny brought 2 food enthusiasts together

I found the meaning of life at Annabelle's Place. Tireless and always on the go, Penang-born Annabelle is the passionate cook, an aspiring barista and a vivacious restaurateur who knows everything about food appreciation. Armed with a charming personality, she understands the value of relationship building in securing customer faithfulness and reliable long term relationship. On the day of my visit, the restaurant was understaffed and she was putting on a one-man show from cooking to serving. Under such circumstances, she remained cool and confident despite being overworked throughout the day.

I always come for these lovely scones, which are freshly baked upon order.
Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, her scones are probably the best in Penang.

These scones are served with imported strawberry jam and clotted cream whipped to the right consistency.

A comfort food with a Thai twist

Japanese Green Tea

I always like to end my meal with a cup of strong and bold coffee.
At Annabelle's, I found the Cappuccino simply irresistible.

Topped with a nice cap of foam, nothing has been over done here.

Just a simple nutty treat to go with your cuppa

The breast meat was so well marinated and was even more tender than drumstick. It's Mum's favourite.
