Lam Meen @ Living Food Restaurant, PJ Uptown

Living Food Restaurant in PJ Uptown is famous for its Lam Meen. However, do not go to the wrong shop as there is another shop selling the same type of noodle, situated merely a few yards away. Somehow, that extremely popular franchising noodle restaurant hardly wins the heart of Damansara residents. As you know, when food becomes commercialised, authenticity will gradually be replaced with the taste that suits diners from all walks of life, particularly the tourists who are commonly influenced by publicity. Eat the name, not the food!

Fried yambean-filled dumplings (sui kow)

Variety of fish balls and fish paste (yong tau foo)

Here comes the main star: Lam Meen
(literally translated as: soggy noodle)
Note: Lam Meen is a Cantonese noodle dish in which the noodle is braised in thickened soy-infused egg gravy
