Fine dining @ Citrus Wine & Dine

I am always looking forward to eating fine food in Ipoh. Fine Dining, as the name suggests, offers diners three main areas of focus: a well-written menu without any picture of food, patrons being treated like kings and queens by waiters in suits and the most elegant dining atmosphere in a high-priced restaurant. To date, none of the restaurants in Ipoh fulfils the above criteria, including today's featured restaurant - Citrus Wine & Dine. However, I would very much like to compliment their food which I think is far more worth eating and paying for than the Perak Sultan's favourite eating place (Ind.......)

Back to the question, can we classify Citrus Wine & Dine as a fine dining restaurant? When I think of fine dining, the images of crisp tablecloths, live classical music in the background and a full course meals served according to sequence come to mind. Perhaps, today's fine dining concept has evolved a little resulting from the fusion of cuisines of various genre. Well, owing to the eclectic blend of food Citrus serves and the limited choice we have in Ipoh, I think it is not a bad idea to call it a fine dining restaurant.

  3. Though this can't be categorized as real fine dining in its most stringent terms, but for Ipoh's standards, Citrus has to be somewhere up there, being above average in terms of quality and price.
