Mackerel Curry Noodles
On my way back from Pangkor, I drove past Changkat Kriung, a Chinese Village located in between Sitiawan and Pantai Remis. Changkat Kriung is my ex-colleague's hometown. When I was working in Johor, she always mentioned about the uniqueness of this sleepy hollow for it serves an extraordinary type of noodles called 'Mee Kari Kembung' (Mackerel Curry Noodles). Locating the stall was almost effortless as the locals are so used to giving directions to out-of-towners who flock in for the same delicacy.
Wonton noodle is used instead of the common yellow noodle
The vendor was generous in the ingredients as every plate of noodle comes with two medium-sized mackerel
The curry gravy makes the noodle look simply tempting
