Father's Day Dinner @ Ipoh Garden East Ocean Restaurant

We celebrated Father's Day two weeks after its actual day as my siblings were busy with their work over the third weekend. Dad is a rather patient man so we presumed that he wouldn't mind getting a super-belated Father's Day dinner. Being let down many times by Kok Thai restaurant, we moved to East Ocean Restaurant hoping that this dinner would be another memorable one for Dad, if the food is above our expectation.

Oh Menu... your name is purple...

Chivas Regal 18 Whisky
Unlike Chivas 12, Chivas 18 has a velvety, dark chocolate palate and a wisp of mellow smokiness. This whisky possesses an extremely warm long finish.

Hennessy X.O. can be served neat but I usually enjoy it "on the rocks".
This brandy gives a combination of structured, woody and spicy to the palate.

  1. Never eaten Mini Buddha Jump Over the Wall before! Nice food here.. wanna try that one day! :)

    We went there because this branch is nearer to our house. In fact, Menglembu East Ocean serves better taste than Ipoh Garden South's.
