Homemade English Afternoon Tea (again???)

My passion for English Afternoon Tea is so strong that even if I can't always go to The 1885 to enjoy this (actually, not loaded enough to go there so often), I will try to satisfy my crave by creating something similar. I am lucky as I have a group of comrades who share my interest and they do not mind coming to my house to be my guinea pigs. I organised another English Afternoon Tea today and had invited 4 wonderful colleagues of mine over to experience a session of high society lifestyle. I made them as my guinea pigs by serving them my very first homemade scones. It was my first scones recipe and first attempt in making scones. When the dough was ready, I dread to think how would it turn out to be. I was so relieved when it rose as how it should be and the smell was pretty inviting too. Overall I received good remarks on  all the food I served and this has motivated me to try out more new recipes in future. I'm looking forward to organizing another session of tea party so as to foster the relationship among all of us.
